Harbour Arm, low tide
£180Edition of 35
Seven layers, printed over three days. The grey took four attempts to mix and I still repull it every time.

Editions
Sizes and papers are listed on each print. When an edition sells out it stays sold out.

Edition of 35
Seven layers, printed over three days. The grey took four attempts to mix and I still repull it every time.

Edition of 24
Nine layers on a black ground. The hardest registration I have attempted and eleven sheets went in the bin.

Monotype, unique
One impression, no edition. Whatever came off the plate is the entire run and this is it.

Edition of 40
The first print I made in this studio and still the one people ask for. Reprinted twice, never enlarged.
What I make
Four to nine layers, hand-pulled on 300gsm Somerset. Registration done by eye, which is why no two match exactly.
One impression only, no edition. What comes off the plate is the whole run.
A place, usually. Bring me a photograph and a story and I will send you a proof before printing.
Six people, one press, one day. You leave with three prints and inky hands.
Oak or painted, museum glass, done locally. Cheaper than doing it yourself afterwards.
First Saturday of the month. Come and watch a print get pulled and buy nothing at all.

Why people pick us
Forty means forty. No larger version later, no reprint in another colourway, no seconds.
If the registration is off it does not get sold cheap. It gets recycled.
You see it and say yes before I pull the edition. If you say no, you owe me nothing.
One press, one person, no giclée reproductions dressed up as prints.
Reviews
I asked whether a larger version existed and was told no, and that there would not be one, because the edition was the edition. I bought two.
Six of us, one press, a whole day. I have never been so absorbed in anything. Went home with three prints and a new hobby I cannot afford.
Sent a photograph of my grandmother's house. The proof came back and I cried, which I was not expecting from a piece of paper.
Get in touch
For a commission, send a photograph and roughly what it means to you. I will come back with a price and a proof before anything prints.
